Cornerstone Baptist Church Leadership
Cornerstone Baptist Church is blessed to have a church leader who is truly dedicated to Christ and accomplishing His will. The following is a brief bio of our leader and his qualifications for ministry.
Pastor Benjamin Lang
Shepherd/Leader
Pastor Benjamin Lang is a native of Mobile, Alabama and is the ninth of eleven children born to the late Rev. Eural C. Lang Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary Ida (Williams) Lang. He gave his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at age 10.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and his Master of Divinity Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
On February 25, 1984, he married the love of his life, the former Nadine Lemons of Hot Springs, Arkansas.
Pastor Lang served as a Baptist Campus Minister at GA. State University, GA. Tech, and the Atlanta University Center [1984-1996] and worked as a Church Planting Consultant for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board [1998-2020].
Pastor Lang and Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lithia Springs, Georgia [where he has served from 1994-present] are members of the West Metro Baptist Association. He and the Cornerstone Family are making a kingdom impact in their community and beyond.
Pastor Lang expresses a burning desire to lead a church like Cornerstone Baptist Church where a Christ-centered/biblical worldview is embraced and encouraged, with members who care about the needs of those around them and who want to connect others to the body of Christ. Pastor Lang takes “The Great Commission” (Matthew 28:18-20) very seriously and looks forward to the day when he will hear our Lord Jesus the Christ say, “Well done, thou good and faithful, servant.” (Matthew 25:21).
